In Fashion A special Taglit-Birthright Israel group with American and Israeli participants studying or working in the fashion and marketing industries, got an up-close look at fashion in Israel. Touring fashion schools, galleries and learning weaving techniques in an Arab village, the participants were also tasked with a project: to create a unique head piece. Read more (PDF)!
Youngest US State Legislator Joins a Birthright Israel trip
Kesha Ram, 25, a second term Democrat representing a Burlington district at the Vermont State Legislature and the youngest state legislator in the nation, just returned home from a Birthright Israel trip.
Taglit-Birthright Israel provides the gift of first time, peer group, educational trips to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18 to 26 in order to strengthen participants' personal Jewish identity and connection to the Jewish people.
